About the Role
An Artist Partnership Manager plays a crucial role in building and maintaining relationships between talent and organizations (such as a record label, agency, or brand) and its artists. This role involves identifying partnership opportunities, negotiating deals, and ensuring that the artist’s needs are met while aligning with the organization’s goals.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Partnership Development:

Identify and cultivate new partnership opportunities with brands, venues, other artists, and industry professionals.

Foster strong, long-term relationships with current and potential artist partners.

Negotiate partnership deals, sponsorships, and collaborations to ensure mutually beneficial outcomes for both the artist and the organization
2. Artist Representation:

Act as the primary point of contact between the artist and the organization.

Understand the artist’s career goals, creative vision, and business needs to tailor partnership opportunities accordingly.

Advocate for the artist’s interests while balancing the organization's objectives.
3. Campaign Management:

Oversee the execution of partnership campaigns, ensuring timelines and goals are met.

Coordinate marketing, promotional efforts, and event activations to maximize the artist’s exposure.

Monitor the success of partnerships, analyzing key metrics and adjusting strategies as needed.
4. Contract Negotiation and Management:

Draft, review, and negotiate partnership contracts and agreements.

Work closely with legal and financial teams to ensure that all contractual terms are clear, fair, and executed.

Ensure both the artist and organization fulfill their contractual obligations and maintain a positive working relationship.
5. Collaboration with Internal Teams:

Collaborate with marketing, PR, sales, and other departments to create integrated partnership strategies.

Ensure the artist’s vision and brand align with the organization’s broader strategy.

Work with event teams to plan artist appearances, tours, and other promotional activities.
6. Market Research and Trend Analysis:

Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities in the artist and entertainment sectors.

Analyze the success of past partnerships and learn from those insights to improve future deals.
7. Budget and Financial Management:

Manage partnership budgets, ensuring the effective allocation of resources.

Track financials, ensuring that partnership revenues and expenses are recorded accurately.
8. Artist Support and Guidance:

Provide ongoing support and guidance to artists, assisting with career development and providing advice on business matters.

Help artists manage their public image and brand, ensuring that their public interactions align with their goals and values.
9. Event Coordination:

Assist in the coordination and management of events, including concerts, launches, meet-and-greets, and media appearances.

Ensure the artist’s participation in events is seamless and beneficial to both parties.
Skills and Qualifications:

Experience: Proven experience in artist relations, music business, or partnerships management (at least 2-5 years). Experience in the entertainment industry, brand partnerships, or talent management is a plus.

Negotiation Skills: Strong ability to negotiate deals, contracts, and terms with artists, partners, and brands.

Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage relationships with internal teams and external partners.

Problem-Solving Abilities: Ability to resolve issues that arise between the artist and the organization, as well as within partnerships.

Creativity and Innovation: Understanding of the entertainment and music industries and ability to think creatively to identify new partnership opportunities.

Project Management Skills: Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Attention to Detail: Ensuring that all agreements, budgets, and timelines are carefully managed and executed.

Passion for Music/Arts: Strong interest in the entertainment, music, or arts industries is essential.
Preferred Qualifications:

Education: A degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred.

Industry Connections: Established network within the music or entertainment industry.

Technological Proficiency: Familiarity with CRM systems, project management tools, and data analytics.
Work Environment:
Primarily office-based, but travel may be required for artist events, concerts, and other partnership-related activities.
Flexible hours, including nights and weekends, especially during key partnership events or artist activations.
